YOOOOOO IT'S BACK Y'ALL!!! Welcome to ADU's 6th annual Disney Villain Takeover!!! *Super villainy confetti canons* I'M SO EXCITED!! I've been working super SUPER hard to make this and the upcoming posts happen this year, so I really hope they don't disappoint!!

I've been wanting to do Rotten to the Core for YEARS! Pretty much since I came up with Villain Takeover. So I'm super hyped that I finally got around to it! Now, as much as I wanted to do this one, I wasn't originally planning to do it this year, as a matter of fact, I really wasn't sure when I wanted to do it, just that I wanted to at some point if that makes sense lol XD But it randomly hit me while listening to this song a few months ago that Harper would be PERFECT for Mal (considering she already has purple hair and is a graffiti artist herself), and at that point I knew plans had to be rearranged and that it had to happen this year lol! Evie, on the other hand, was a bit tricker to decide who'd be taking on her role. The part had been passed about multiple times to various dolls before I finally decided on Odette. I know she doesn't technically look too much like Evie, but I still feel like she was somehow the perfect doll for the job! Something about her overall vibe just feels right, and that's always what I've gone with for the Disney Lyric Shoots anyway so I think it works ;)

I had one heck of a time with these costumes like good grief??? I have no idea what the deal was but the whole process was a mess; ran out of fabric before I was able to make Mal's pants, had to rip out Carlos' pants AND top like fifty-million times, the snaps for the tops went missing more than once, like this was the messiest, most train wreck sewing prep for a post that I can remember ever having. It left me afterwards unsure if I really liked the results of the costumes. But as I started taking pictures of them they started growing on me so I think the outfits ended up okay 'XD Oh! Also fun fact about Evie's necklace, the heart bead was a gift from my sister when we traveled years ago to a town with a really cool little shopping square selling lots of really neat handmade things. It has a special place in my heart (pun not intended but we'll pretend like it is lol XD) and I thought it was the perfect final touch for Evie's outfit so just thought I'd share :)

OH MY GOSH ALSO Y'ALL!!! A really weird bug jumped on Harper's head at one point?? It was very strange looking, so I went to flick it off AND IT MADE A LOUD CLICKING SOUND BEFORE JUMPING OFF AHBDUAUHWHGHDBJASGUAHS???? I know it has literally nothing to do with anything, but it startled me so I need you guys to know it happened just because LOLLL XD

Okay, I fully recognize I'm rambling at this point lol! But one more thing before I sign off, I have very sad news...

The camera I've been using since I was 9 (or pretty close to 9 at least? I don't know lol) is finally starting to give out. *Que In the Arms of an Angel*

This is very tragic timing unfortunately lol, I'll try to use another camera if possible, but there's a good chance I'll be using my phone camera from now on. It's not great, but cameras are insanely expensive (even for used ones) so I probably won't try to purchase a new one until my health allows me to work again because that's definitely not a purchase I want to make out of savings lol 'XD So, super sorry in advance!! I'm really hoping it won't too badly affect the photo quality over here, but if it does please bear with me because I love this blog and still want to post lol.

Well, with that, I guess I'll go ahead and end it here. Thanks so SO much for stopping by!!
