Dolls in the Fall! - Photo Shoot

 

HELLLLOOOOO MY DEAR FRIENDS!!! How nice to see you all again!! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you're having a lovely day :) I know I'm taking a bit of a break with Villain Takeover for this one, but I REALLY wanted to do a photo shoot at the local pumpkin patch with a couple of my new dolls before it closed for the year. I will say though, I have not been to this pumpkin patch in years, and it is WAY different, lol!! XD The pumpkin patch doesn't even seem to be there anymore from what I could tell? Like they had a little fenced in area with some already harvested pumpkins, but it was small. The giant pumpkin patch I remembered is gone, now it's just a big open space surrounded by the corn maze (which is MASSIVE now, in case you were wondering, lol!!). Another fun fact about the not-so-pumpkin pumpkin patch, you have to pay to get in now *-* whether you want to buy a pumpkin or not, you have to pay your way to pumpkin and doll photography. SO! What did I do? Did I pay to go in? Well... no, not really, lol!! I opted to take pictures by this truck surrounded by pumpkins that WASN'T TECHNICALLY INSIDE THE PATCH IT WAS BEFORE YOU GET TO THE TICKET BOOTH SO OUTSIDE THE GROUNDS LOL 'XD So yeah, even though it was outside the grounds and before you went anywhere that you'd have to hand over a crispy $10 and hope they didn't get mad about a doll photo shoot, I was still paranoid about getting in trouble the whole time XD If any of the pictures look a bit wonky as far as angles and stuff go, it's because I was trying to hurry in case I got in trouble and was also battling the wind and catching dolls before they faceplanted lol. Hopefully they're okay though. Without further ado, Luciana and Rebecca!! :D

Oh yeah, the lighting was also not super great lol, sorry about that, it gets a little better as we go along though.

This picture is my favorite of the shoot, I honestly love them and their little outfits so much <3

I'm not saying Luci was being held up by Rebecca's arm but she 100% was being held up by Rebecca's arm, LOL!

Then I switched to the other side of the truck so I was more hidden- I mean... the lighting was better! Yes, that's the reason 100% XD

I honestly LOVE this dress!! I made it for Joyce for vacation last year (I'm planning to post those pictures in November), and the Charlie Brown fabric just makes me so happy! :D

She is literally so photogenic, I took way too many pictures of her XD

I tried really hard to do her hair in a way that her purple hair streak was visible, I even picked a purple sweater to match! But the sweater looks more blue here sooo.... yeah XD

I was having such a hard time posing them for this one, very impolite of this truck to not have a more dollie suitable step  -_-

They both have such shiny hair! They're so pretty I can't!

So yeah! I managed to take all these pictures without getting into trouble, which was very cool! Once again, I wasn't doing anything wrong as far as I could tell, but I was so scared that maybe I was but I wanted doll pumpkin photos so badly XD Moral of the story, if you're unsure if you can take doll photos somewhere, just ask. I won't do it, because I'm an introvert, but the rest of you should lol!!

It was so fun getting to do a photo shoot of these two together, I got them both this year pretty close together and I was immediately like, "THEY NEED TO BE BEST FRIENDS!!!" Which was a very odd move that surprised even myself, as these two could not have any less in common. I can't really explain it exactly, but I just feel like their friendship works somehow. I feel like even though their interests and lives are drastically different, they'd still be able to talk and laugh about it all. That, despite the differences, they'd just kinda understand each other. I like to think that Rebecca is the extravert to adopt Luci as her introvert friend, LOL!! I don't know, I just think they make sense in every way that doesn't make sense somehow. Their friendship has become one of my favorites amongst the dolls :)

 Anyway, sorry for the interruption of Villain Takeover! I hope you still enjoyed the post though! I have one more Disney Villain Lyric Shoot coming, but it's a big one so stay tuned!
