Away in a Little People Manger - Christmas Photo Shoot
Hey friends!! Guess who's back? XD
I am so SO sorry about all the comments I haven't answered and all the posts I've missed, when I tell you I feel like I've lived a year in the last two months lol. I really wanted to post last month, and I had a much bigger post planned for Christmas that I was super excited about, but everything just ended up melting into chaos in the end and most things (including blog stuff) fell through my fingers. BUT! I did sneak in some time to take Christmas pictures of Molly (That I'm now posting at the last possible minute LOLLL) that I really wanted to share! I really hope you enjoy them and please excuse that they are super late (a "Post of Christmas Past," if you will) and were also taken with my so-so phone camera lol! 'XD
---------------------------------------------
So I found this Little People Nativity at Goodwill recently, and when I tell you I was hyped lol!! XD My friend's family has one that they bring out and put in their kids area every year and I always thought it was so awesome! I didn't buy it with the intention of using it for this shoot, but I think it ended up being perfect!

If you press the angel down, the star on the front lights up and it plays Away in a Manger :D
My favorite doll for real (don't tell the others lol) <3
I never really paid attention to the stickers on the back wall before now, they're very pretty!
(Also we're not talking about how bad the carpet needs to be vacuumed, lol! 'XD)
The angel does come off the stable btw XD
That box of vegetables does NOT fit very well in the cart even though that's literally where it's supposed to go and it drives me nuts XD
Look at that happy cow, he knows he's the best boy for real, look at that smile!!
My friend's family always puts the wisemen on the other side of the room from all their nativities because the wisemen technically didn't come until Jesus was around two years old and I honestly think that's so funny lol!! They're such awesome people I love them XD
Fun fact: That's not ribbon, it's bias tape because I couldn't find red ribbon LOL!!
I am so happy with how this picture came out :D
So, there was something I didn't tell you guys about this photo shoot.... it's not of just Molly. I actually received two new dolls for Christmas this year, and I'm super excited to introduce them to you all! So please welcome to the ADU family....

Maisie and Lea!
I'M LITERALLY SO EXCITED ABOUT THEM!!! They're both so pretty I cannot, such special gifts for real <3
Oh my goodness I've been on the lookout for Lea for so SO long!! She was a gift from my parents (along with really cute jungle themed clothes) and I'm just so excited about her. She is truly a stunning doll!
Fun fact #2: I actually didn't like Lea until I saw Madi's pictures of her Lea (named Taryn, I believe) on Delightful World of Dolls (I can't get her blog to pull up for some reason?? I'll try to link her later). Madi's beautiful pics made me fall in love with this doll and she was originally the doll I wanted for Magdalene's part in The Star Sister when I first came up with the story years ago :D
I've literally been saving a personality and an OG pet turtle in case I ever got her lol!! Y'all aren't ready for her oh my gosh XD
And Miss Maisie was a gift from my friend Jewel! So a bit of backstory on this, I've known Jewel through blogging since my early teens, I'm not sure if anyone still here remembers her blog, but it was called Doll Notebook and she was my first friend in the blogging community. She ended up moving to my state a few years back and she's been one of my IRL besties ever since! Though she's not blogging anymore, she still has all her dolls and more recently started customizing AG dolls to resell! Last time I was at her house she showed me the dolls she'd finished, and Maisie was one of them. I completely fell in love with this doll and a few weeks later she gave me her for Christmas! I was so surprised and excited!! I ended up deciding to name her after my book character, who looks very similar to her :)
There's something so special and cool about having a doll customized by a friend, I feel very blessed to have her and Jewel really did such a beautiful job fixing her up <3
I think Maisie is going to be sisters with Mavis, a thrift store doll I customized back in October or November, and Juniper, another thrift store doll I haven't gotten around to customizing yet and may end up with a different name once I see her in the wig LOL!! we shall see XD
Obligatory shoe picture.
Look how pretty her hair is!! It's a Claudie wig and I'm very scared of it lol!! XD
I thought this one came out really cute :)
(Lighting on this one is rough lol whoops)
Shout out to the cool astronaut light I got for Christmas that's just chilling in the background lol 'XD
From Maisie, Molly, Lea, and everyone at All Doll'd Up, Merry Christmas!! <3

Annnnnnd that concludes the photo shoot and the final post of the year! I really hope you enjoyed them and that you had an absolutely FABULOUS Christmas! Sorry again that this is so late, I left to spend some time with friends out of town the day after Christmas, so I didn't have a chance to get this up much sooner lol. Plus the internet here is really bad right now because of all the extra people in the area for New Year's, took literally all day yesterday to get everything uploaded 'XD But I'm really glad the internet pulled through just in time for me to post before the year ended because I am pretty happy with these and I would have felt weird posting them in January lol!!
I also want to thank you all for making 2025 such an AMAZING year over here on ADU!! I think this is the most I've been able to post in years, and the support on The Star Sister was absolutely mind-blowing! Thank you so SO much for being so kind and making me believe I could still write enjoyable stories after all this time, it genuinely means more than I can express <3 Thank you also for your patience with the next part of the photo story! I was really REALLY hoping to get part 2 done in November but like I said everything just went crazy with medical stuff and getting super SUPER sick (whatever flu is going around this year is SO BAD Y'ALL!! LIKE CHEESE AND CRACKERS DON'T CATCH THAT IT WAS SO AWFUL??? 0/10 on that one, I really don't recommend XD) and trying to pull my charity stuff together in between it all. I might be able to get it done late in January but I also really need to take some time to rest and breathe a little bit after the last two months lol, so I can't 100% guarantee. If I can't get it done in January though I'll definitely have it up in February (and don't worry! I'll still have a post for January either way!)!
Anyway, I should go before it's January LOLLL XD Thank you all so SO much again for such a great blogging year, for such a wonderful community, and for being such great friends!! I'll get to all the comments and posts I missed as soon as I can! I love you all so much and I hope I can post lots of cool things for you in 2026!! Definitely let me know in the comments how your Christmas was, your favorite thing you received for Christmas, how your 2025 was and what you're looking forward to most in the year to come! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and God bless, my friends! I hope you have an amazing day!
-Katie :)
P.S. I did somehow manage to get all my dolls in their Christmas dresses on Christmas Eve with some help from my mom on the last few dolls lol! So they were all dressed for Christmas! Not super important news but it made me happy so just thought I'd share lol! XD Okay, love you friends! Bye! <3
