*Stumbles out of bushes* I'M HERE!! I'M BACK!! What year is it? What month?? It's still January, right? *Checks calendar* DANG IT!!

Hey friends! Sorry I disappeared for a few months there, really not the start I was hoping for on the blog this year lol 'XD Life got a bit crazy there for a minute, but I'm so excited to be back and I'm working on a game plan for posting over the next couple months as we speak! (So beware, lol jk XD)

I hope you've had the most wonderful Easter today- wait... that's still Easter today, right? *Checks calendar* Oh thank goodness, at least I'm not late on that one lol!! XD This post was originally supposed to just be a very last-minute photo shoot (As in I decided I was going to do it like... yesterday lol), then I used In Christ Alone for my Lego Easter post over on Instagram and at about 3 o'clock (roughly 15 minutes before I took the pictures) I decided, considering the time crunch I was under, I should create an even bigger time crunch by making this a lyric photo shoot!! Gotta love my planning skills for real XD

Fun fact about this song, it actually holds a very special place in my heart as it was the song I danced to as my farewell solo at the dance school I grew up at! It was a mashup with I Can Only Imagine, which is the section I mainly danced to, but I left some parts from Christ Alone in as well. And it is such a sentimental song for me because the meaning behind that dance was (and still is) so important to me. I was one of only two soloists who choregraphed their dances themselves that year, and the only one performing en pointe. The dance was dedicated to God; a celebration of everything He had given me through dance, and praise to Him for getting me through all the highs and lows in life to bring me to that moment. It was my testimony, shared through dance. I gave that solo everything I had, and thanked God through every step I took on that stage. The dance was far from perfect, but at the end of the day, I don't think it needed to be. I had many people approach me about it afterwards, telling me how much the dance blessed them, but it blessed me just as much if not more. I prayed every day as I worked on it that the dance would be about God and His glory and not about me, and I hope so deeply that when people remember that dance they think of God and all that He's done in all our lives before they even remember that it was me who danced it. I don't know, perhaps it's a lofty hope but it was a very special moment for me and I still tear up when I hear this song.

Anyway, in other news I really should stop taking doll pics where there are an insane amount of ants... That was bad, I really need to pay more attention to my shoot locations LOLLL XD I also fully recognize I probably should have used dolls I haven't done photo shoots of yet but I CAN'T HELP IT I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP SO MUCH!!! I love how they could not be less alike and go against everything I usually do when pairing doll friendships when creating characters, they have absolutely nothing in common but their personalities somehow just work so well?? I don't know I just love them they're such cute besties and I'm so happy with their outfits lol!! <3

Well, I should probably head out before it's no longer Easter lol!! I hope you guys had an amazing one and that you know Jesus loves you so so so SOOOOOOO much!! To Him you were worth everything He endured on that cross and that level of love cannot be measured or contained :)

I should be back super soon with more photo shoots (I've got a pretty cool one with a doll I got for my birthday, and I still have my photos from vacation) and I'm hoping to get the next part of the photo series out kind of soon?? I'm not sure how soon though, I'm trying to figure out the best way to make all this work on top of craft show prep and other stuff going on right now so I'll keep you guys updated lol. I'd love to know what y'all have been up to and how your Easter was!! And if we really wanna get crazy I'd also love to know your favorite Easter candy too lol XD Happy Easter my friends, He has risen!!
