Y'all... I'm writing this on Friday morning out of town after realizing that I forgot my SD card to upload the photos for this post. I... literally feel like I'm going to throw up lol, I had about a day and a half at home and worked so hard to get the post pulled together in time to be able to post it this week, and I'm not going to be home until Monday when I'll hopefully get this up. I cannot put into words how upset I am over this after going through so much to make sure I could post this week. It's going to throw the rest of the schedule (so best case scenario there's probably going to be one week with three posts unfortunately, not sure if that's going to be annoying as a reader or not), though I'm going to do my best not to drop any planned posts this month. I'm so sorry, y'all... I'm seriously so done I cannot with myself right now lol...

Anyway, gonna try not to focus on that and make the most of this, there's not much I can do about it anyway so moving on LOLLL!! "XD I've been so SO excited about this post y'all!! I don't know why but something about making Scooby Doo costumes has had me way more hyped than it probably should have LOLLL!! I'm so beyond thrilled with how they all came out and just how fitting the dolls ended up being for the characters, even Mitchel who I chose for Shaggy for lack of better options lol 'XD 

Now, since I haven't introduced her yet, I should probably explain the dollie playing Daphne a bit! Her name is Alexis Crumps (don't ask where that last name came from, your guess is as good as mine lol XD), and she was a TLC Grace my mom found at Goodwill back in February.

And when I say TLC, I REALLY mean TLC. As in the most TLC AG doll I've ever fixed up (which y'all know is really saying something) *-* She's been such a fun challenge, and though she's still a work in progress (someone tried to paint her arms?? Like almost the same exact color as her skin tone????) I genuinely love her so much I can't y'all :D

Now, you may be wondering, why the eyepatch? Well... That's my solution to her eye being very much broken lol XD I'm gonna be so real with y'all, eye swaps scare the Spooky Scary Skeletons out of me (though I may or may not have to do one for a certain project I'm working on... *-*), plus, DOLL EYES ARE SO DANG EXPENSIVE WHAT?? They're like $25 AT LEAST how was I not aware of this?? Goodness, you spend more than half your life in the AG community and still learn something new every day lol XD

Anyway, I really REALLY wanted to use Alexis as Daphne, and I still truly think she was the perfect doll for the character. And while I can technically maneuver her eye into looking normal, I don't feel right about removing any of my doll's disabilities for a post like this, because even though they are playing or representing another character, they are still themselves first in my eyes so erasing their disabilities to "better fit" the role I want them in is out of the question for me personally. 

SO! Y'all get eyepatch Daphne, in which I made a special eyepatch to match the outfit/character and I think it ended up working out so incredibly cute!! :D

Also because this was such a short song, afterwards I felt like there weren't enough pictures that really focused on the full outfits or set (both of which I was very excited about), so even though I typically don't do this, I have some bonus pics of just the outfits and set for fun! Please bear in mind though I was rushing at this point because dinner needed to be served up and I took these on the floor in our kitchen lol 'XD

This is the overall set, like I said it's just on our kitchen floor lol, but I thought the vibe came out very spooky and Scooby-Doo-esc :D

I literally have no clue where this bust came from?? I'm not even joking I did not buy this thing and it's not something my family would have bought either. It just appeared in my doll Halloween decorations one year and its perfectly doll sized so sure?? I don't know my only guess is that my sister bought it and left it here or something but she also hasn't lived with us in over 10 years so I'm not sure XD

Annnnd outfit time!! First up we have Alexis as Daphne Blake, I know the dress is definitely the wrong style but yolo, I always do stuff that's more inspired off the original outfits rather than perfect matches anyway 'XD

Up next is the original guy around ADU, Carter as Fred Jones! I genuinely could not picture any of my other dolls playing Fred, something about Carter just feels so on point for that character. With the added bonus of when the white shirt came out a tad too small (always check the pattern to see if you need knitted fabric friends, be wiser than me) it still fit because Carter has a very narrow torso LOLL!! ALSO!! Did you know Fred was a theater kid before fully dedicating himself to mystery solving? Because I absolutely did NOT lol!! I thought he was a football player or something I am floored by this information. On a sidenote, we're not talking about his eye being a bit off in this picture, it gets slightly stuck sometimes and I didn't notice until now -_-

Onto our next dollie, the lovely Morgan as Velma Dinkley!! Remember in the Mother Knows Best post I said I got two of the same Truly Me? Well, this is the other one LOL!! I got her after Rory, but because her wig is in better condition, she got to stay in her original form.

Here we have Mitchel as Shaggy Rogers!! Fun fact, I almost customized a doll for this part because between the boy and girl dolls I apparently just do not have a doll with light brown hair AT ALL. Which shocks me deeply considering the number of dolls I have, I kind of assumed I had all the hair colors possible but I guess not 'XD Ended up going with Mitchel in the end though. Kinda off topic but I honestly think Our Generation makes my favorite boy dolls available. I'm really not a huge fan of most the other boy doll lines but something about OG's just really clicks for me. I really like them :)

And last but not least, Scooby Doo played by himself!! (Bet y'all didn't know we had it in the budget to get a celebrity appearance. We go all out for Villain Takeover over here on ADU ;) ) Lol my dad got me this cute little Scooby Beanie Baby awhile back at a thrift store. He's one of my doll's pets but I haven't introduced them yet so we won't talk about that...

Well, that's what I got LOL!! I'll probably skedaddle now because I have a LOT of prep work to do on the rest of the posts for this month and I REALLY need to get started on those XD I really hope you guys enjoyed this even though it's not technically Disney (I honestly love doing stuff like this, even if it is slightly off theme). I'm thinking about doing some of the other Scooby songs/theme songs in the future, but I don't want it to feel like I'm rehashing or being lazy by doing a bunch of posts with the same outfits (which would NOT be my reason for doing it, I just also really like Terror Time and What's New Scooby Doo 'XD) so please let me know your thoughts on that lol. Also let me know if you've watched Scooby Doo before because I just found out one of my friends never has?? Which shocked me but I'd love to know if that's actually pretty common or not (especially my friends outside of the US, is Scooby really popular in your country or is it more of an American thing?). If you are familiar with Scooby Doo, please tell me your favorite character as well!! Mine's Shaggy, but I feel like that's not a real original choice lol 'XD I was also a big fan of literally any episode or movie that contained the Hex Girls if y'all remember them, I thought they were the coolest lol!
